The HKD (Honeycomb Kevlar Directional) represents the pinnacle of the DC snowboard line—this all-mountain directional twin tip is ready for all types of riding from the half pipe to powder.
- Handmade Phantom core bonds vertically laminated poplar and obeche woods to a honeycomb beam
- This combination is then wrapped in a dual torsion box with Kevlar® and carbon strips, then all of this is fully wrapped in a fiberglass sock
- Strong, durable 64.20 Bi-Ax laminate wraps the core in 2 directions of tightly woven glass fibers that add strength and durability without additional weight
- Unwanted edge transverse flex is virtually eliminated and the board gains stability, edge grip, durability, punch and shock absorption
- Finally, the laser-finished 7500 sintered base makes it firm, durable and exceptionally fast
